Overview
You can let customers manage their subscriptions right after checkout by adding Subi’s Manage subscriptions block to your Shopify Thank You page.
This adds a Go to Subscription Portal button that links directly to your customer portal, helping shoppers pause, skip, swap, or update their subscriptions without contacting support.
This feature helps reduce churn and support tickets by giving subscribers immediate self-service access.
Before you start
Make sure you meet the following setup requirements:
You’re using a Shopify theme compatible with the Online Store editor.
The Subi app is installed and fully configured on your store.
You have staff permissions to customize Checkout and Thank You pages in Shopify.
Steps to add the block
In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
Click Customize on the theme you want to edit.
From the top menu, select Checkout and customer accounts.
In the left sidebar, scroll to Apps and locate Subi.
Click the + (plus) icon next to Manage Subscriptions Block to add it to the Thank You page.
Select the block to adjust its placement, then click Save.
💡 Tip: Move the block higher on the page so customers don’t miss it after completing checkout.
What customers see
On the Thank You page, shoppers will see a Go to Subscription Portal button.
When clicked, this takes them directly to their customer portal, where they can:
Pause or skip a shipment
Swap products
Update payment details or delivery address
Cancel or reactivate their subscription
For more on how the customer portal works, see: How can subscribers manage their subscriptions?
Portal link destination settings
The link shown in the Thank You page extension is determined by your Portal link destination selection inside Subi.
This means the Go to Subscription Portal button automatically points to the correct customer portal link based on your configuration.

Troubleshooting
If you don’t see Subi listed under Apps in your Shopify editor:
Confirm the Subi app is installed on the same Shopify store.
Check that your user account has the necessary staff permissions to edit checkout pages.
Ensure you’re editing a theme that supports the Online Store 2.0 architecture.
