1. Wait for Installation
After enabling the Subi App Embed, it may take up to 1 minute for the widget to appear. Ensure you’ve waited at least 1 minute for the widget to fully install before checking for further issues.
2. Check If the Product Is Added to a Subscription Plan
Verify that the product is added to an active subscription plan in Subi. Only products included in a subscription plan will display the widget.
3. Ensure Your Product Is Published (Not in Draft Mode)
Make sure the product you want to display the widget for is not in draft mode. If it's unpublished, the widget will not show. To check this:
Go to Shopify Admin > Products.
Ensure the product is published and available for purchase.
4. Confirm That the Subi App Embed Is Enabled
The Subi widget requires the Subi App Embed to function properly. To enable it:
Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize next to your live theme.
In the left-hand menu, navigate to App Embed and ensure that the Subi App Embed is enabled.
5. Check for Theme Changes
If you've recently changed your theme, you must enable the Subi App Embed for each theme separately. Even if the theme is unpublished, you can still preview the widget by ensuring the app embed is turned on for that specific theme.
6. Ensure There Are No Conflicts with Other Apps
Other apps may conflict with the Subi widget. Common conflicting apps include:
Other subscription apps
Bundle apps
Pre-order apps
Back-in-stock apps
Automatic discount apps
Product option apps
If you suspect a conflict, ask Subi’s support team for assistance in sorting this out.
7. Are You Trying to Display the Widget on Other Pages?
If you are trying to display the widget on the homepage, collection pages, or quick view pages, make sure:
You’ve enabled the option to display the widget on these pages.
Your store is using an Online Store 2.0 theme for full compatibility.
To enable this, go to Subi Panel > Widget Tab and make sure the widget options for home, collection, and quick view pages are turned on.
8. Manually Install the Widget
If the widget still doesn’t appear, you can manually add it to your product page by following these steps:
Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize next to your live theme.
Open the Product Template from the top menu.
In the Product Information section, click Add Block.
Search for Subi and select the Subi Widget Wrapper Block.
Drag the block to your preferred location on the product page.
For more detailed instructions, you can refer to the manual installation guide.
