Overview
Selling plans in Subi let you customize how your subscriptions and memberships are billed, delivered, and displayed to customers. You can adjust pricing, set billing schedules, and control when subscriptions can be cancelled or expire.
Below is a complete breakdown of each selling plan feature and how you can use it.

Delivery frequency and interval
Set how often customers receive and are billed for their orders.
For example, you might set delivery to every 1 month, every 2 weeks, or every 3 days, depending on your product and fulfillment schedule.
Note: You cannot have more than one selling plan with the same delivery frequency and interval (e.g., every 2 months) unless each plan has different prepaid settings. For example:
One plan without prepaid
One plan with prepaid enabled and billed every 2 orders
One plan with prepaid enabled and billed every 3 orders
The screenshot below shows an example of multiple selling plans with different prepaid settings:
Display contents
This controls what customers see in the subscription widget for the selling plan:
Purchase options title: The name shown to customers in the subscription widget.
Subscription summary: The description shown under the widget when this plan is selected, helping customers understand the offer.
Note: If you make changes to the selling plan and then uncheck and recheck the Subscription summary option, Subi will automatically rewrite the summary to include the latest changes you’ve made to that selling plan.

Offer discount or flat rate
Change the selling plan price from the regular product price in Shopify. You can:
Offer a percentage discount (e.g., 10% off).
Offer a fixed discount (e.g., $5 off).
Set a flat rate for the plan (e.g., $20 per delivery, regardless of product price).
Adjust price after a specified number of orders
Set an initial discount or flat rate for the first few payments, and automatically change it afterward.
For example, you could offer 20% off for the first 3 deliveries, then increase it to 25% for future deliveries.
The screenshot below shows both the offer discount and flat rate options, as well as where to configure the adjust price after specified number of orders setting in the selling plan modal:
Prepaid
Allow customers to pay upfront for multiple deliveries in advance.
For example, you could let customers pay for 3 months’ worth of deliveries now, and receive one delivery per month.

Charge on specific days
Use this setting to bill customers on exact dates, aligning charges with your preferred delivery schedule. You can select:
Weekly – choose a specific day of the week (e.g., every Saturday).
Monthly – choose a specific day of the month or bill every 2, 3, 4, or 6 months.
Yearly – choose a month and date (e.g., January 1).
You can also decide when to deliver the first order:
Immediately – fulfill right after purchase, regardless of the billing day.
Closest specific day – schedule the first delivery on the next chosen billing day.
The cut-off period determines how close to your billing day a new subscription can be created before it’s moved to the next billing cycle. This prevents overlapping charges or back-to-back fulfillments.
Note: This setting is available for weekly, monthly, and yearly billing plans (not daily). Changing a selling plan’s billing day only affects new subscriptions—existing subscriber contracts keep their current schedule.
For more complex timing scenarios (like pre-paid plans with grouped deliveries), the billing day serves as the “anchor” for all future fulfillments. Even if payment is retried on a different day, deliveries remain tied to this anchor date.
