How do I set up pay-per-delivery subscriptions in Subi?

Learn how to create subscriptions that bill customers for each delivery, without long-term prepayment.

Updated this week

Overview

A pay-per-delivery subscription charges customers for each individual delivery instead of requiring a long-term prepayment. Customers are billed before each delivery is shipped. This model offers flexibility and cost transparency, making it ideal for consumable or perishable products where customers want control over when and how often they receive items.

Benefits of pay-per-delivery subscriptions

  • Flexibility: Customers can choose a delivery frequency that suits their needs.

  • Transparency: Customers know exactly what they’ll pay for each delivery.

  • Retention: Lower commitment can help convert new customers who are hesitant to subscribe long-term.

How it appears on the product page

Subi adds a subscription widget to your product page so customers can:

  • Select from multiple pay-per-delivery frequency options you define.

  • Compare the per-delivery price with other available subscription options.

  • See the exact amount they’ll pay for each delivery in the price section.
