How do I remove the one-time purchase option to offer only subscriptions or memberships?

Overview

You can remove the one-time purchase option for any product or membership plan directly from your Subi panel. This allows you to offer Subscribe & Save, Membership, and Subscription Box plans exclusively as subscriptions. Follow the steps below for each plan type.


Remove One-Time Purchase from Subscribe & Save Plans

To remove the one-time purchase option for a Subscribe & Save plan:

  1. In your Subi panel, go to the Plans tab.

  2. Select the Subscribe & Save plan you want to edit.

  3. On the plan’s configuration page, find the Purchase type section.

  4. Choose Subscription from the dropdown (instead of the default “Subscription & one time purchase (Both)”).

  5. Click Save.

This will remove the one-time purchase option from your Subscribe & Save widget.

Remove One-Time Purchase from Membership Plans

To remove the one-time purchase option for a Membership plan:

  1. In your Subi panel, go to the Plans tab.

  2. Select the Membership plan you wish to update.

  3. On the plan’s configuration page, locate the Purchase type dropdown.

  4. Choose Subscription (instead of “Subscription & 1-Month Access”).

  5. Click Save.

Now, customers will only see the subscription option for this membership.

Remove One-Time Purchase from Subscription Box Plans

For Subscription Box plans (including both fixed bundle and mystery box types):

  1. In your Subi panel, go to the Plans tab.

  2. Select the Subscription Box plan (fixed bundle or mystery box) you want to update.

  3. On the configuration page, find the One-time Purchase toggle.

  4. Switch the toggle off.

  5. Click Save.

This will remove the one-time purchase option from your Subscription Box widget.

You can also set these options when you are creating new plans—simply select the appropriate purchase type or toggle during setup.
