If you already run a loyalty app such as Yotpo or LoyaltyLion, you can connect it to Subi so that each subscriber's points balance from that app shows on their subscription in Subi. This answers the question "how many points does this subscriber have?" without leaving Subi. Subi only reads your loyalty data; it never changes it, and it does not replace your loyalty program. The connection is available on every Subi plan.
Before you start
Get the credentials from your loyalty app:
Yotpo: your API key and your Store GUID. Both values are in Yotpo under Settings, General settings.
LoyaltyLion: a program API key. Create one in LoyaltyLion under Settings, API keys.
Smile, Rivo and Stamped are not supported at the moment.
Connect your loyalty app
In Subi, open Settings > Integrations and find the Loyalty points card. Its badge reads Not connected. Click Configure.
Click Connect your loyalty app. Under Loyalty app credentials, choose your Loyalty app (Yotpo or LoyaltyLion) and fill in the fields that app needs: the API key, plus the Store GUID for Yotpo.
Click Connect. Subi checks the credentials with your loyalty app before saving anything. If the app rejects them, the field shows Check this value and nothing is stored; correct the value and try again.
Once connected, the Connection panel shows your loyalty app and a masked API key, and the Integrations card badge changes to Connected.
Where the points appear
Open any subscription contract in Subi. The customer card shows a line such as Points in Yotpo with the balance, for example 1,250 points. Subi looks the customer up in your loyalty app by their email address, so a customer who uses a different email there shows no line. The balance is refreshed at most every 5 minutes, so points earned a moment ago can take a few minutes to show. Subscription contracts of a store with no connection show nothing at all.
If the points stop loading
When your loyalty app starts rejecting the saved key, for example because you rotated it, the Integrations card badge changes to Needs reconnect, the contract page shows Points unavailable, your loyalty app needs reconnecting, and the configuration page explains Your loyalty app rejected the saved key. Enter a current key and click Connect to start reading balances again.
A temporary problem reaching your loyalty app shows Couldn't load points from your loyalty app on the contract page instead; the line recovers on its own once the app answers again.
Disconnect
On the configuration page, click Disconnect and confirm in the Disconnect your loyalty app? dialog. Subi stops showing points balances and deletes the stored key. Your loyalty program itself is not affected.
Good to know
Subi reads balances only. It never adds, removes or spends points in your loyalty app.
This is separate from Subi's own loyalty program under Retention > Loyalty program. You can use either, both, or neither.
The connection is available on every Subi plan.
