What sender email options are available in Subi?

Learn about the three sender email options in Subi and how to choose the best one for your subscription notifications.

Why sender email options matter

When Subi sends subscription notifications to your customers, the “From” address can affect deliverability, trust, and how replies are handled. Subi gives you three choices for sender emails, so you can pick the one that best fits your brand.

Where to find your sender email options

In Subi, you can choose how subscription notifications are sent under the Sender Email section. This is located in your Subi dashboard under Settings > Notifications. There are three different sender email options available, so you can select the one that works best for your business.

1. Default Subi sender email

  • The default option is [email protected].

  • This address is always available and requires no setup.

  • It’s useful if you want to get started quickly without configuring anything.

2. Store-branded email

  • The second option uses your Shopify store name.

  • For example, if your store is called Example, the sender email will be [email protected].

  • This email address is generated automatically from your Shopify store name.

  • You can edit the store name portion of the email (e.g., change “example” to something else) by clicking the three-dot button next to it.

  • This option gives your notifications a more branded look while still sending from Subi’s trusted domain.

3. Add your own custom email domain

  • The third option allows you to send notifications from your own domain (for example, [email protected]).

  • This requires a one-time setup to verify ownership of your domain.

  • Once verified, notifications will appear to come directly from your business email.

Choosing the right option

  • Use the default email if you want the fastest setup.

  • Use the store-branded email if you want your notifications to reflect your Shopify store name with minimal effort.

  • Use a custom email domain if you want the highest level of branding and professionalism, and you have access to update your domain’s DNS records.
