Once your loyalty program is active and the Customer Loyalty extension is enabled, your customers will see a loyalty widget on their account page. Here's what they can do.
Points Balance
Customers can see their current points balance and any pending points at a glance. Pending points are awarded after an order is fulfilled.
Follow Us — Social Media Points
If you've configured social media platforms in the Social Follow section, customers will see a Follow Us card listing each platform with the points they can earn.
How it works for customers
The customer sees the list of your social media accounts with the points available
They click Follow on a platform — this opens your social profile in a new tab
Points are awarded instantly and a confirmation banner appears
The platform updates to show "Following" and "Earned" instead of the point value
The customer can still click on followed platforms to revisit your profile
Note: Each platform can only be claimed once per customer. Clicking again does not award additional points.
Rewards & Coupons
Customers can browse available rewards and redeem their points for discounts. Redeemed coupons appear in the My Coupons section and are automatically applied at checkout.
Birthday Bonus
If you've enabled the birthday bonus earning method, customers can set their birthday to receive bonus points each year on their special day.
Troubleshooting
The loyalty widget doesn't appear on the customer account page
Make sure the Customer Loyalty Portal Extension is enabled in your Shopify admin under Settings > Customer accounts > Extensions
Ensure your Subi plan includes the Customer Account Extension feature
Social Follow card is not showing
Verify you have at least one active social follow platform configured in Retention > Loyalty Program > Social Follow
The card only appears when there are active platforms to display
