You can change what one subscriber pays for a product without touching the plan or any other subscriber. This article shows where to do it and what each option means.
Change the price of a product
Open Contracts in your Subi admin and open the subscription.
On the Next order details card, click Edit. The Product details window opens with one row for each product in the subscription.
Under Discount type, choose Percent off, Fixed amount or Flat rate, then enter the value next to it.
Click Save.
What each discount type does
Percent off takes a percentage off the product’s price.
Fixed amount takes a set amount off the product’s price.
Flat rate sets the price itself. The amount you enter is what the subscriber pays for the product.
Fixed amount and Flat rate are per delivery. If the subscription is prepaid, Subi shows a note under the field with the amount that applies to each payment.
Good to know
If you choose a different type from the one the product has now, saving replaces its current discount, and Subi tells you what is being replaced under the field before you save.
Not every plan includes every discount type. If yours does not include the one you chose, Subi shows a notice under the field, and Percent off is still available.
The change applies to this subscription only. To change the price for everyone on a plan, edit the plan. To change a price after a number of payments, see Adjust Price or Discount After X Subscription Payments. To change many subscriptions at once, see How to Bulk Edit Subscription Contracts.
The same window has a Quantity field for each product. Enter 1 or more.
A subscription keeps at least one product, so the option to remove a product is not offered on the last one.
Add a product to the subscription
In the Product details window, click Select products, tick the products or variants you want, and click Update. A product added here becomes part of the subscription, so it is billed with every order. If you want an item for the next order only, see "Can I add a one-time item to a subscription?" in this collection.
The change did not save
If Save fails, nothing was changed. Try again. If Subi says editing is temporarily locked because a one-time item was added to your upcoming order, wait until that order is processed. See "Can I add a one-time item to a subscription?" in this collection.
