How do I let my customers manage their subscriptions in chat with Convi?

Use the Convi card on the Portal page to get Convi and create the Subi API key it needs.

You can let your customers check, skip, pause or cancel their Subi subscriptions in a chat on your store by connecting Convi, an AI helpdesk app for Shopify. Subi shows you where to start on the Portal page.

Where to find the Convi card

In the Subi app, go to Storefront & Portal and open Portal. Under the card about the thank you page, you'll see the card Let customers manage subscriptions in chat. It has two buttons: Create API key and Get Convi.

Step 1: Install Convi

Click Get Convi. Convi's page on the Shopify App Store opens in a new tab, where you can install it on your store.

Step 2: Create a Subi API key

Convi needs a Subi API key to read and change your customers' subscriptions. Click Create API key on the Convi card. Subi opens Settings › API keys, where you can create a key and copy it.

If your current Subi plan doesn't include API keys, the API keys page shows an upgrade button instead. Upgrade your plan to create a key.

Step 3: Give the key to Convi

Paste the Subi API key into Convi where it asks for your Subi key. Once it's connected, your customers can manage their subscriptions in the Convi chat after confirming their email address.

Keep your API key safe

Your Subi API key gives access to your store's subscription data. Only paste it into apps you trust, and don't share it in emails or chats.
