Subi AI answers questions about your own store's subscriptions, and it can prepare a change for you to approve. You will find it on your Subi home page, in the box that reads "Ask about your subscribers, revenue, or strategy…", and behind the sparkle button in the top right of several other Subi pages, including Subscriptions and Subscription plans.
This article lists the kinds of questions it handles today, with examples you can paste straight in.
The quickest way to try it
Under the ask box on your home page sit three ready-made questions: "How do I compare?", "What to pre-sell?" and "Boost my MRR". Clicking one sends it for you, so they are the fastest way to see what Subi AI does with your own numbers.
Open the panel itself and its welcome screen offers three more under "Suggested prompts": "Show churn summary", "List expiring cards" and "Audit billing rules".
Questions about your subscribers
Ask in your own words. These work well:
How many active subscriptions do I have right now?
How did my subscriber count change over the last 30 days?
Look up the subscription for [email protected]
What plans do I have, and what does each one charge?
Subi AI reads your own store's data to answer.
Questions about renewals and revenue
What did my subscriptions bring in last month?
How many payments failed recently?
Which customers have a card that is about to expire?
How many subscriptions were cancelled this month?
Changes it can prepare for you
Subi AI does more than answer. Describe a change you want in words and it prepares the settings, then shows them to you before anything runs. A selling plan is one example: say what you want the plan to do, and it puts the configuration in front of you to check.
It can also change many subscriptions at once. Ask, for example, “Swap the 1.5kg Timothy Hay for the 2kg bag on all my active subscriptions” or “Send a payment update link to every subscription whose last payment failed”. Subi AI first shows a preview listing every subscription it would change, with each one's current and new value and, for a price change, the total at their next renewal before and after. Nothing changes until you approve the card it offers after that preview, and one approval covers up to 100 subscriptions.
It asks before it changes anything in your store. Nothing is applied until you approve it, and every change it runs is recorded.
The first time you open it
You will see a card headed Subio answers from your store's data. It says that Subi AI reads the data your question needs, sends your question and that data to our AI provider, and that every change waits for your approval. If you typed a question on the home page first, the card shows it under Your question: press Accept and ask to accept and send it in one step. With no question waiting, press Accept and continue; a short card then introduces what the assistant can do, with a Get started button that takes you to the message box.
Where it stops
It asks before it changes anything. A change is shown to you first and waits for your approval.
Some of what it can do depends on your Subi plan. If a question needs something your plan does not include, it says so and stops rather than doing it.
It handles a group of up to about a hundred subscriptions in one question. For a longer list, use the Subscriptions page.
If you cannot see it
Subi AI is not switched on for every store yet. If the ask box and the sparkle button are not there, message us from inside Subi and we will check your store. It can also take a moment to appear while Subi finishes loading your settings, so it is worth refreshing the page once first.
