When you open Subi’s pricing page, a slider sits above the plan cards. Drag it left or right to preview what your monthly bill would be at different subscriber counts. This guide explains how to read the slider and what it changes on the page.
Subi pricing page — drag the slider above the plan cards to preview your monthly bill at different subscriber counts.
What the slider does
Subi’s pricing scales with the number of subscribers on your plan. Instead of guessing what a plan will cost as your store grows, you can preview the exact monthly price at any subscriber count by dragging the slider.
As you drag:
A small chip floats above the slider thumb and shows X subs · $Y/mo for the current position.
The price on each plan card updates live to match the position you’re hovering on.
In the comparison table below the cards, the “Pay monthly” row tracks the slider too — with a small “(at tier N)” caption to help you orient.
What the slider does NOT change
The slider is a preview tool. Moving it doesn’t change your subscription, doesn’t change which plan you’re on, and doesn’t bill you anything. Other rows in the comparison table — transaction fees, support tier, feature membership — stay fixed regardless of slider position.
When you click Subscribe or upgrade to a plan, your bill is based on your actual subscriber count at billing time — not the slider position you previewed.
When you see the slider
The slider appears whenever you’re on the pricing page and at least one plan has tiered pricing configured. If a plan has only a flat monthly price (no tiers), the slider is hidden and you see the static price on the card.
Reading the comparison table
The comparison table below the plan cards shows every feature side-by-side. With this release, two specific things changed in the comparison view:
The “Pay monthly” row updates with the slider in real time.
The SMS fee row has been removed — SMS billing now lives on the SMS notifications settings page, where you can see the fee in context with your SMS templates and consent settings.
The “Add-on” badge has been removed from individual plan cards but stays in the comparison table next to feature names. The comparison table is the source of truth for what counts as an add-on.
