Before You Start

  • Make sure you have access to the Subi dashboard and Shopify admin.

  • Some methods require integration with Fast Bundle or the ADU app.

  • Confirm that these features are available in your plan.

Method 1: Quick Checkout Links + Discount Codes

Set up volume-discounted subscription bundles using Subi and Shopify discount codes.

Steps:

  1. In Subi, add a selling plan to the product.

  2. Create a Quick Checkout Link that includes the product and sets the bundle quantity.

  3. For multiple subscription frequencies (e.g., weekly, monthly), create separate links.

  4. To offer tiered volume pricing, create individual links for each quantity.

  5. In Shopify, attach a discount code:

    • Use a single-word code (no spaces).

    • Set to apply to subscription purchases.

  6. Share the link via CTAs on product pages, landing pages, or in email campaigns.

Optional: Hide Subscriptions Until Checkout

  • Set the default widget to "one-time purchase" in Subi: Widget > Customize.

  • Contact support to hide widget using CSS.

  • Duplicate product and apply subscription plan only to the duplicate, then hide it from storefront.

Method 2: Fast Bundle Integration

Enable customers to build their own bundles with automatic subscription volume discounts.

Steps:

  1. Integrate Subi with the Fast Bundle app.

  2. In Fast Bundle, create a Product Mix-and-Match bundle.

  3. Add all eligible subscription products.

  4. Set a minimum selection threshold in Discount Options.

  5. Enable the bundle in your store via Fast Bundle settings.

  6. Customize the bundle’s landing page in Shopify: Online Store > Pages.

This setup encourages customers to choose their items, while applying automatic volume discounts on subscriptions

Method 3: ADU – Automatic Discounts for Subscriptions

Automatically apply a subscription discount at checkout based on cart quantity.

Steps:

  1. In Subi, create a subscription plan with qualifying products.

2. In Shopify Discounts, create a discount code:

  • Set Purchase Type to Subscriptions.

  • Define the minimum quantity required.

  • Enable "Discount applies to all recurring payments."

3. In the ADU app:

  • Create a new Shopify Discount promotion.

  • Add the discount code.

  • Remove all other triggers.

  • Activate and save.

When customers meet the quantity threshold, the discount is automatically applied at checkout.
