What is an Exclusive Discount?
The Exclusive Discount feature lets you give certain membership tiers (e.g., Silver, Bronze) special pricing on selected products or collections. You can use amounts off discount type available in Shopify for now.
When enabled, eligible members will have the discount automatically applied at checkout — no need to enter a code.
How to set up an Exclusive Discount
Navigate to the Plans section in your Subi dashboard. Create a new membership plan or edit an existing one.
Within the plan settings, scroll down to the Perks of Members section. Click on Configure at the bottom of the page to manage exclusive access.
Select the membership tier you want to apply the discount to (e.g., Silver or Bronze).
Create a discount code in Shopify using your preferred options.
In Shopify admin, go to Discounts → Create discount.
Choose from Shopify’s discount types
Set any additional rules (minimum purchase, eligible products/collections, usage limits, start/end date).
Copy the exact discount code you created in Shopify.
In Subi, paste the discount code into the Discount perk field for that membership tier.
Click Apply to save.
Switch the Apply a discount toggle to ON.
Click Done.
Members in this tier will now have the discount automatically applied during checkout.
Note: Do not set the Customer eligibility option to a specific customer segment in Shopify. Subi automatically applies the discount to all members in the selected tier.
