1. What is a Fixed Bundle Subscription

A Fixed Bundle Subscription is a predefined package that includes multiple items (products) sold together like a single subscription product. Customers subscribe to receive the same set of items on a recurring basis. Further, customers can choose available options for each item (e.g., color, size, etc.) in the subscription. However, they can not customize their bundle (e.g., remove or update an item) after subscribing.

2. How does Fixed bundle subscription work?

In Subi, the app creates a single product in Shopify to represent the bundle. You then add the related products under the Included Products section of the fixed bundle. Although the bundle appears as a single product to customers, it consists of multiple items that are managed individually in your Shopify store.

Bundle Update Required:

  • One or more products in the bundle have been deleted. Please review the bundle, take the necessary actions, and then reactivate it.

  • One or more products in the bundle are in draft status. Please reactivate the product(s) or remove them from the bundle, then reactivate the bundle.

Important Setup Notes

Keep the following in mind when creating fixed bundles:

  • The bundle product is virtual and used only to render the widget.

  • Don’t assign a price or variant to this virtual product.

  • You can track inventory for each product included in the bundle and adjust settings as needed.

  • You can customize the product name, description, and media directly in Shopify.

You can track inventory for each product included in the bundle and adjust settings as needed. Additionally, you can customize the product description and media for the bundle later on within Shopify.
