Overview

If you need to export critical data from Subi for analysis, reporting, or operational purposes, the Export Builder is designed for you. With the Export Builder, you can export key subscription, customer, order, and billing details as CSV files that can be opened in spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

This article walks you through every step, from accessing the Export Builder to downloading your data.

Accessing the Export Builder

To get started:

  1. Go to your Subi panel.

  2. In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Settings, then select Data export.

You’ll now see the Export Builder interface, where you can choose which type of data you’d like to export.

Selecting the Data to Export

The Export Builder lets you export several types of data:

  • Subscription contracts (.csv): Includes active, canceled, expired, paused subscriptions, or a changes log.

  • Customers (.csv): Includes customer information and contact details.

  • Orders (.csv): Contains order details linked to subscriptions.

  • Billing attempts (.csv): Includes processed, failed, or retried billing attempts.

Step-by-Step Guide to Exporting Data

1. Choose the Data Type

  • Under the section labeled Which data are you looking for?, select the type of data you wish to export.

  • For example, to export subscription contracts, select Subscription contracts (.csv) and choose your desired filters (such as All, Active, or Canceled).

2. Set the Date Range

  • Use the Date range section to define the time period for your export. By default, the last 30 days is selected.

  • To change the date range, click Change date range and select your preferred start and end dates.

  • To export all historical data, check the box labeled Export entire data history.

3. Export the Data

  • Once you’ve selected the data type and date range, click the Export button.

  • The system will generate a CSV file and automatically download it to your computer.
