How to create, edit, or delete subscription plans in Subi?

Updated over a month ago

To offer recurring payments for a product or service in your store, you need to create a subscription plan and set the frequency for billing intervals.

Steps to Create a Subscription Plan in Subi

Creating a subscription plan in Subi is super easy. Follow these steps to add a subscription payment option to your products:

  1. Go to the Plans tab, and click on Create new plan.

  2. Edit the default Monthly selling plan to customize frequency, discounts, prepayment, cancellation policy, expiration, billing days, and widget display options.

For more details, see the related article on selling plan features.

  3. Add multiple frequencies by clicking on Add selling plan.

  4. Browse and select products or product variants for the subscription option.

  5. Select your preferred Purchase type (e.g., One-time, Recurring, etc.).

  6. Enable Free Shipping if you'd like to offer free shipping on the products in your subscription plan to your subscribers or members only.

  7. Click Create plan.

  8. Enable the Subi App Embed to install the subscription widget.

  9. View the products page to check the result.

  10. Rename your plan for easy reference in your Subi panel (this is for internal use only; your customer won't see this name).

  11. Deactivate your plan if you want to disable the subscription widget for the products in this plan.
