With Subi's Page Exclusive Access feature, you can now make specific pages on your store visible only to members of your membership plans. This allows you to gate valuable content or sections of your site, elevating the value of your memberships.
How It Works
Subi lets you assign exclusive access to pages based on the membership plans your customers subscribe to. When a customer joins a specific membership, they’ll gain access to the pages you’ve designated—ensuring that only eligible members can view your exclusive content, such as premium blogs, hidden collections, or private guides.
Step 1: Create or Edit a Membership Plan
Navigate to the Plans section in your Subi dashboard. Create a new plan or edit an existing one.
Note: Before you can create an Exclusive Access Perk, make sure you've first created and saved the membership plan. The perk configuration becomes available only after the plan is saved.
Step 2: Select Exclusive Access Setup:
Within the plan settings, scroll down to the Perks of Members section. Click on Configure at the bottom of the page to manage exclusive access.
Step 3: Set the Perk Details
Select the tier where you want to offer exclusive product access.
Toggle on Apply exclusive access for members.
Click to expand the Exclusive Access Pages section.
Add Pages for Members-Only Access
To add a page:
Enter the relative URL of the page you want to restrict (e.g.,
/collections/exclusive
).Click Add another page if you want to include more URLs.
Click Apply to save your settings.
Note: You can also use a pattern with a * (star) to match multiple pages.
The * means "anything can go here".
Example: /products/* matches all these:
/products/flower
/products/box
/products/special-item
All the pages that follow this pattern get exclusive access automatically.
Step 4: Review your setup
1. Visit any of the pages you’ve set as exclusive.
2. If the related membership hasn't been purchased: An exclusive access block will appear at the top of the page with a message like:
3. To test access, place a test order for the corresponding membership plan.
Refresh the page — you should now see the whole page appear, confirming access is properly granted.
Optional: Customize the Access Denied Block
You can personalize the message shown to non-members on exclusive product pages by customizing the Access Denied block.
Scroll to the bottom of the Exclusive Access Perk setup modal.
Click on Customize next to “Would you like to customize the ‘Access Denied’ page?”
In the popup, you’ll find editable fields:
Title – The main heading displayed in the block (e.g., Members Only).
Description – A short message explaining the restriction (e.g., This content is for subscribers only. Tap 'Subscribe' and follow the process to unlock access.).
Subscribe Button Label – Customize the call-to-action button (e.g., Subscribe Now).
Login Text – Optional text for returning members (e.g., Already a member?).
Login Button Label – Label for the login link (e.g., Login).
4. Once you’re happy with the content, click Save to apply changes.
